Corteva Agriscience is currently seeking a Sales Effectiveness Manager supporting the Dairyland Seed Co business. The Sales Effectiveness Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of sales effectiveness and business development strategies for the Dairyland Seed Co. The role requires an experienced, self-motivated, creative, and lifelong learner who seeks out strong relationships within a dynamic, fast-paced growth environment.
How will you help us continue to grow?
Leading the Dairyland Seed brand in territory planning, dealer recruitment and development, and growth thru brand specific tactics aligned with Dairyland Seed and Corteva initiatives
Leverage selling resources and services within Dairyland Seed Brand to drive strategic growth by identifying areas and geographies of opportunity and maximizing sales employee and point of sales coverage and effectiveness
Responsible for providing direction for point of sale (dealer) recruitment and programs to sales teams as well as ensuring effective sales coverage by providing clarity to sales employees and independent reps on areas of assignment and growth opportunities
Partners closely with sales team to identify dealer prospects and is actively involved in dealer recruiting efforts
Deciding how to allocate resources across sales geography and sales team to achieve sales volume, market share, revenue growth and profit growth.
Works across Corteva brands to identify brand and point of sale gaps and creates a plan for to increase sales focus on areas of growth opportunity
Drive increased prospect to customer conversion rates through tactical planning and implementation
Identify key issues and develop innovative solutions and communicate at all levels in the organization
Develop and implement strategic growth tactics using market data and competitive intelligence to drive incremental and profitable volume growth.
Identify key development needs (Sales Counseling/Coaching, Time Management, Agronomy, Product Knowledge) to focus training efforts for all members of the sales team, as well as points of sale.
Qualifications
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Ag-business, Agronomy, Business, Marketing or related area or equivalent sales management experience.
5-7 years' experience in Ag marketing, sales or sales management.
Build/maintain strong relationships with peers, customers, key industry/market influencers, Corteva brand partners and direct reports
Strong selling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution and handling objections skills
General knowledge of seed Industry/landscape, products associated with seed, and competitive product/service offerings; regional Ag markets; value chain and production practices
Selling & marketing tools and techniques, financial analysis
Collecting, interpreting & communicating market, customer & competitive data skillsets
VISA sponsorship and International Relocation are NOT available for this position.
