Sales Director:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives for ShipAccel, our new eCommerce SaaS platform. This role involves managing a remote sales team, developing strategic campaigns, and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance our business offerings. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and ensuring our clients receive exceptional value via our products and services. The wage range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 OTE, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive compensation plan. This position is also remote anywhere in the US.

You will:

  • Team Management: Manage a remote team of 5+ experienced sales representatives, empowering them to proactively engage with prospects across eCommerce market segments to build a client base for the future.

  • Sales Forecasting: Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales forecasts and report directly to senior management and own the district sales targets, comprising revenue from new direct sales and existing accounts

  • Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand potential clients' needs and tailor solutions that align with their business goals

  • Training and Meetings: Participate in training sessions and sales meetings as directed by management to ensure team alignment and cohesion

  • Recruitment: Drive the recruitment of new sales representatives, and build a strategy to retain and grow exceptional talent

  • Leadership: Handle leadership responsibilities to build a high-performing sales team that adds sustainably to our revenue portfolio

  • Communication: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and communication strategies in collaboration with sales leadership and the partnership team for Ship Accel

You are:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in strategic sales and business development in the SaaS space. Bias

  • Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in a similar industry

  • A player/coach with a strong capability to manage and inspire a remote team to drive and win new clients.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to nurture relationships with both clients and partners

  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities

  • Commitment to championing new ideas, strategies, or concepts to retain business and satisfy clients

  • Technical orientation and a keen understanding of SaaS

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ownership mindset
