As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the regional team representing the full portfolio of NCS capabilities to include equipment, chemicals and marketing. Identifying and building business development opportunities, and working in collaboration with the Key Accounts team to own the Harvey ball progress and developing a strategy to cross functionally grow the NCS share of wallet within the region.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for growing the NCS street sales business through Market Share growth and selling the entire NCS bundle of services.

  • Understand market dynamics and define the strategy to develop the regional footprint by deploying current resources, and cross training the team to represent and sell the NCS bundle.

  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Coach, mentor and set job expectations with current team. Continuously recruit, train and develop upcoming sales talent into the organization.

  • Lead the sales team to represent and sell NCS products through a compelling and meaningful value to customer using insight, business analysis, problem solving and flexibility with a focus on forward thinking by identifying opportunities, threats and trends; anticipating future barriers and issues, as well as analyzing and interpreting organized customer economics/financial performance

  • Participate in developing marketing plans, including objectives and strategies, completing analysis of the client's business specific products/services, and executes sound and relevant marketing and sales strategies with input from appropriate members of the NCS sales team and Sr. Management.

  • Provide account maintenance and daily support which may include overseeing the development of and adherence to budgets and schedules, maintaining overall quality control, reviewing/analyzing of billing, and remaining up to date on client needs, competition, and pertinent industry business through trade pubs, newspaper articles and other sources.

  • Remain knowledgeable of all company products and services to facilitate sales efforts

  • Maintain sales records and prepares sales reports as required

  • Create regular accurate business and sales forecasts

  • Utilize defined sales processes and tools (i.e. CRM)

  • Manage all aspects of an evaluation program to deliver assigned financial results and prevent surprises

  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years' of similar work experience

  • Experience leading a sales team

  • Must have proven experience in new business development, achieving revenue goals, and managing sales strategies in line with company objectives

  • Experience in the carwash industry and/or cleaning chemicals business, preferred

  • Experience connecting with customers in a way that builds trust and creates strong relationships

  • Must possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset and solid business acumen

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership/influence without authority

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills which will entail speaking to small and potentially larger groups of individuals

  • Must have effective organizational and time management skills

  • Must be a fast learner who is at ease with technology and someone who thrives in keeping up with the latest trends (apps, social media outlets, emerging technology in the C-store and car wash industry, etc.)

  • Must be a perceptive listener with the ability to ask pertinent questions and hold business units accountable regarding data and analytics needed for successful management of assigned accounts

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients

  • Must possess solid computer skills (MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PPT), and have working knowledge and experience with CRM software

  • Must be able to analyze and interpret data and be able to explain the analytics to the customers and break down key metrics in an organized fashion

  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record

  • Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory level of efficiency

  • Must maintain confidentiality of employee, department, and company business

  • Must have adequate sight to read and interpret data

  • Required to use advanced math and writing skills

  • Required to use a laptop computer routinely

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
