Job Description

The Sales Director is focused on growing Accenture's Cloud business, and manages opportunities through all phases, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and offering expertise. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework to enable our Client's Cloud journeys and transformation.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions to complex Cloud-oriented business problems for opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

  • Interacts with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determines pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading Cloud transformation practices.

  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

  • Operates within large teams and directs specific team sales activities

  • Must be able to travel up to 50%

RESPONSIBILITIES * Listen to and learn from our employees, partners, and customers about their needs and facilitate organization-wide shared understanding (i.e. personas, journey maps, etc.). * Email marketing – create and execute strategy (list segmentation, scheduling/ automation, A/B testing etc.). * Marketing and advertising budget – financial guidance and analysis to optimize ROI. * Facilitate content creation – website landing pages, blog articles, print ads, emails, and conference materials. * Trade and industry conference consulting – planning and resource management. * Digital marketing – advise and coordinate paid search campaigns, SEO, banner ads, etc. * PR – consult and guide outreach. * Visual design – coordinate creation with external marketing agency. * Print media – manage the creation of direct mail pieces, brochures, handouts, and ads in trade magazines. * Social media – planning, guidance. * Data-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis – help establish quantifiable business outcomes for projects, KPIs, surveys, etc. and create dashboards or reports to measure success. * Partner relations – coordinate and manage critical strategic partnerships. * Planning / roadmap – proactive coordination of deliverables. * Assumes other tasks and duties as assigned by management. * Participates in organizational meetings on a regular basis. * Attends professional and/or continuing educational seminars and classes. * May need to visit customer locations and participate in association conventions.
