ITW Medical is comprised of two highly-respected medical product brands - Coeur & Filtertek - supplying medical devices and components to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the ITW Medical leadership team, the Global Sales Director reports to the VPGM, and leads the global sales team, and is responsible for developing and implementing the organic growth strategy for all market segments within the division.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the vision and implementation of the strategic annual and long-range plans based on an in-depth understanding of business and sales activities.

  • Work closely with GSMs and PMs to identify and capture global growth opportunities in new/existing markets with key customers leveraging market insights and customer relationships.

  • Develops sales strategies to expand market share through the launch of new product line expansions.

  • Partners with the Product Manager and GSMs to develop go-to-market strategies which ensure revenue expansion according to the division plan.

  • Develops a performance driven sales team with relevant KPI´s and a related compensation structure.

  • Drives a customer centric culture which contributes to our world class customer service experience.

  • Partners with the Engineering Director to effectively drive the CBI growth through the application of the strategic sales excellence framework.

  • Identifies, leads and develops talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting divisional goals.

  • Hires and onboards talent; communicates effectively to foster an inclusive work environment, creates goal alignment, provides coaching through feedback, and development planning, and completes performance reviews on a bi-annual basis.

  • Collaborates with the Division Controller to review and effectively manage the segmented P & L, adjusts customer pricing as necessary.

  • Assures the alignment of sales plans and forecasts with all other business-related processes within the ITW Medical organization as a basis for active resource management.
