Sales Director, Corporate Accounts
Job Description
Creates strategic business plan and provides overall direction for corporate customer accounts
Responsible for meeting revenue and profitability objectives for corporate customer accounts
Geographic responsibility includes the U.S. and Canada markets
Member of the US&C Sales Leadership team
Directly supervises a team of National Account Managers
Develops sales team to promote solutions-based selling for both products and services
Ensures both new business acquisition and share of wallet growth
Works closely with Sales, Customers Service and supporting functions
Provides input to Product and Service teams to create comprehensive customer solutions
Primary liaison with RS internal corporate account sales throughout the world (ex: EMEA, APAC)
Develops strong relationships with key customers and supplier partners
Travel throughout the US and Canada markets (~60% of time)
Some limited international travel (as needed)

About the role
Responsible for providing the overall direction and strategy to meet revenue and profitability objectives for Corporate (National) account customers in the U.S. and Canada markets. Member of the US&C Sales Leadership team. Directly manages a team of National Account Managers and works closely with other members of the Sales, Customer Service, and supporting functions to meet all objectives.
What we're looking for
Prior industrial B2B distribution sales and sales management experience
Expertise selling to large and complex Corporate (National) customer accounts
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, develop high performing teams and build trust
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
