Position Summary:

The successful candidate for this position will identify, prioritize, pursue and close new sales opportunities for the full suite of Airbus, Intelligence products and services in the remote sensing and geospatial services market in North America. This position is focused on Hunting for new customers in the Commercial Market in the United States and Canada.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing opportunities for the full suite of Airbus Intelligence products and services in the remote sensing, geospatial services markets.

  • Identify and translate customer requirements and business objectives into solution sets that are based on Airbus' full suite of products and services.

  • Create the strategies and execute the tactics needed to drive substantive, additional benefits to clients that result in revenue generating contracts.

  • Create and develop new business. Meet and exceed sales goals through sales planning and execution.

  • Represent the Company at sales meetings, trade shows and conferences.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree, Sales, GIS or Remote Sensing is required.

  • 8-10 + years in a professional sales and selling solutions, team management skills a plus

  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and business models and be able to evaluate there relevance to the clients' vision.

  • Preference for a strong background in the remote sensing, GIS, analytic services marketplace. Ideally the successful candidate will have commercial market experience in selling products, services and has demonstrated expertise in solution selling

  • Proven background of closing seven figure sales opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently on large, complex sales opportunities, from business capture to contract signature.

  • Proven track record for obtaining new customers and converting to long term agreements

  • Ability to prioritize and to work on a team.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge of French and/or German a plus.

  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25-40% of the time, US valid passport a must.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

This position will report through our Chantilly, VA offices; however, we will allow the right candidate to work remotely, provided they are willing to travel as needed.

You will assess technology and capability gaps along with identifying innovative solutions to address them, develop technology roadmaps, identify and manage technical investments needed to grow the business, engage on program growth and new business capture activities, and help to identify and cultivate technical talent within the organization. You will work in collaboration with the BITS OG Leadership Team and the BITS Technology & Solutions SVP. In order to fulfill this role, you must have an advanced understanding of evolving technical trends for Application Development and Sustainment, including the implementation/integration/configuration of COTS ERP solutions, familiarity with products being developed and marketed by technology vendors, as well as an understanding of our competition, such that you can shape CACI's ability to build innovative solutions that will lead to long term growth within the organization. This includes a broad understanding of customer technical mission needs, gaps and their priorities for innovation and improvement. In this position, you will work closely with your Operating Group's (OG's) Business Development team to define and vet technology capabilities needed to field winning solutions, in support of opportunity identification and qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience not only in developing technical capabilities needed to grow CACI's competitive position but should also have direct experience developing and evaluating white papers, technical demonstrations, and proposals that advance CACI's position in pursuit of related strategic opportunities and campaigns. More About the Role: * Stay current on the latest technology trends and their application to customer missions. * Leverage understanding of technical domain and customer mission to identify and advance opportunities for investments in support of the OG strategic focus areas and target customer mission sets.
