We are looking for a sharp, innovative individual who can:
Prospect via phone and email to educate customers and uncover business opportunities
Use tools like DiscoverOrg, RainKing, LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify decision makers who can utilize Ixia's Network Test & Visibility Architecture Solutions
Make a minimum of 50 strategic outbound calls per day
Call on event leads (trade shows, webinars, etc) or targeted accounts to uncover business opportunities
Articulate to customers the business and technical benefits of Ixia solutions
Interpret customer requirements, proactively act to identify solutions that meet customer needs
Set Discovery Meeting appointments for Regional Sales Teams for a specific region
Use Salesforce.com to log activities and track leads
Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers / Inside Sales in territory planning
Attend regular online and in-person product training sessions to develop expertise in Ixia products
Occasional attendance at Ixia seminars, industry trade shows and other events

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2+ years Lead Generation or Sales experience as intern or full-time employee
Enthusiastic, driven and confident
Go-getter, disciplined and organized
Desire to either begin, or transition into a career in Networking Technology
Strong written and verbal skills
Competitive edge and thrives in a team environment
Salesforce, RainKing, DiscoverOrg, ToutApp, phone experience a plus!
