Individual will be responsible for making contacts, building relationships, cultivating and presenting new opportunities and generating revenues. Will close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients, manage and interpret customer requirements, communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions. Individual will prepare responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information) and will expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of demonstrated sales experience, preferably in the area of commercial, industrial or outside sales.

Valid NYS Drivers License is required and reliable transportation. Successful candidates will also have strong negotiation skills, articulate phone manner, basic computer skills, and effective organizational and time management skills.

Job Title: Research and Development Technologist Job Type: Full Time, Exempt Job Location: Corporate Office- Lafayette, NY Department: Corporate- Research and Development Job Summary: Responsible for leading and supporting product development for customers and new projects/concepts. Work with the QC and R&D departments to develop products by designing experiments, analyzing statistical data, and interpreting results. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Lead and support prototype development for customers and new projects/concepts. * Design and conduct appropriate experiments in the laboratory and pilot plant to advance projects to completion. * Work with various departments including QC and processing to leverage existing resources and capabilities to support NPD and customer projects. * Fully utilize the pilot plant to demonstrate the value of new technologies through product formulation. * Understand project needs, define work plans, keep appropriate records, and provide status updates to project teams and key stakeholders. * Stay engaged with industry trends and technical developments to best respond to company needs. * Leverages networks within and outside the organization. * Complete full cycle formulation experiments from beginning to end and execute trials, experiments or scale-ups based on customer & project needs. * Prioritize, plan and deliver own goals as part of the team. Interact effectively across all levels of an organization. Operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment (Microthermics, homogenizer, etc.) with in-depth knowledge of formulation and processing (hot fill, cold fill, UHT processes). * Design and complete experiments involving dairy ingredients, high sweeteners, starches, hydrocolloids, colors, preservatives and flavors. * Perform experimental design, statistical data analysis & interpretation of data. * Focus on driving improved process efficiencies, improved product quality and lower ingredient costs. * Work collaboratively with peers and others adapting to shifting priorities.
