Contegix is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to lead qualification from marketing campaigns to generate sales opportunities. The SDR will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. This is an inside sales "hunter" role.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong competitive nature and experience speaking with potential clients in a sales prospecting capacity. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through qualification. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. Successful sales development reps have the opportunity to grow into Inside Account Managers.
General Role Requirements
Lead qualification from marketing campaigns to generate sales opportunities
Identifying potential clients through cold calling and/or email initiatives
Outbound prospecting leveraging phone, email, social media
Presenting our company to potential clients
Execution of prospecting/lead development campaigns
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up First Time Appointments (FTAs) or Introduction Calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Use your communication skills to quickly cultivate a trust relationship with the potential customer from first contact to qualification
Understand product solutions at a high level to increase customer satisfaction
Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing plans
Other tasks as assigned
Proven work experience as a prospecting representative or inside sales rep or similar role strongly desired
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales or activity quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce)
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
College degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field strongly desired, but will consider experience as well
