The position of Sales Development Representative (SDR), reporting to the RCG Sales Manager, is responsible for identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities within new accounts for the RCG sales team to pursue and close. Included in his/her responsibilities are sales lead research, prospecting, managing all aspects of the sales cycle, ability to identify new opportunities and accurately present the full suite of CSI products and services. The position is based in Charlotte, NC.
Identification and nurturing of new sales opportunities within assigned territory
Management of sales cycle and sales pipeline development, specifically the early stages of the CSI process (Development, Discovery, Qualification)
Continuous accountability for the status of all sales prospects within territory
Effectively present and deliver CSI value propositions and solutions
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (sales reps, account mgmt., product experts)
Continuous accountability for the status of his/her sales and documentation of all sales contacts
Co-selling with other team members via conference calls and webinars
Other duties assigned by the RCG Sales Manager
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Consultative selling skills
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, Dynamics CRM, internet)
Minimum of 1 year business to business sales experience is preferred, regulatory compliance, banking industry, professional services experience a plus
Experience in SaaS sales and financial services sales is a plus
Great attitude with desire to be a key player on a strong team
Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills both over the phone and in-person are a critical success factor for this role, including: assertiveness, impactful communication style with ability to influence actions/business decisions, high energy level with a bias for action, high credibility/respect from colleagues, and a positive, gets-things-done attitude.
