  • Promote team environment by assisting with training and development of novice employees to enhanceskills and abilities in performance of their duties

  • Generate and present reports as directed by Management

  • Utilize enablement platforms to improve product and positioning knowledge

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

Extracurricular and leadership activities preferred

Participation in professional sales clubs and organizations preferred

Internships in Sales related jobs preferred

Experience with MS Office preferred

VIEW JOBS 2/18/2020 8:30:11 PM 2020-05-18T20:30 <p><strong>The Challenge</strong><br /> We are looking for an experienced professional to provide training support to the DMV Training and Development Section.In this role, you will provide training ito meet our staff and organizational needs in support of the NCDOT Department of Motor Vehicle's (DMV's) mission.<br /> <br /> You will get to  consult with DMV units (Driver Services, Vehicle Services, Customer Compliance Services, Strategy Research and Development, Business Services, License and Theft, License Plate Agency personnel, Law Enforcement personnel, Automobile Dealers, Community Colleges, Universities and NC residents) to analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, instruct, evaluate, and revise basic and continuous professional development programs. I<br /> <br /> You will be monitoring Federal and North Carolina legislation, DMV policy, procedures and processes to ensure all training material is current and accurate. The role requires a working knowledge of all General Statutes, rules, regulations, policies, program changes and procedures that affect DMV.<br />  <br /> <strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ability to research, plan, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate a multi-course program of instruction.</li> <li>Confident in writing lesson plans, training proposals, technical manuals and a monthly training newsletter.</li> <li>Expertise creating PowerPoint presentations, tests and support material for instructor lead training and online training courses.</li> <li>Experience coordinating logistics in implementing a program of instruction at a training site.  </li> <li>Considerable knowledge of the principles and theories in instruction of adult learners and development of subject matter into course material.</li> <li>Able to establish and maintain effective communication with trainees, other instructors, staff, contractors, supervisors, managers and upper management.</li> <li>Formulate ideas and communicate them in verbal and written forms.  </li> <li>Experience planning work assignments and coordination with project managers.</li> <li>Able to identify, document, organize tasks into a project plan.</li> <li>Experience developing and presenting programs to large groups of adult learners.</li> <li>Experience reading and understanding business and technical requirements.</li> <li>Ability to operate audio/visual equipment.  </li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases such as STARS, SADLS and LITES</li> <li>Working knowledge of the Learning Management System (LMS) and NCVIP Performance Plans on the NC Learning Center.
