Highlights:

  • 6 month rotational assignment in Redmond, WA (division headquarters), working alongside Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to develop business acumen and to gain insight into all aspects of the company.

  • After rotation, take on responsibility for sales in your designated Territory, working alongside experienced professionals.

Real World Responsibilities:

During your time with us you will:

  • Spend time learning about the processes and challenges in Inside Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product Support, Product Management and more.

  • Work closely with each region and SAT team, identify who our potential customers are.

  • Focus on independent customers, energy sector, oil field, power plants, and other new customers.

  • Help support Regional Sales Managers or our rental customers.

  • Work with main rental customers and support our national account customers

Must haves:

  • Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Engineering, Marketing or similar field by hire date

  • Willingness to travel and reside in different geographical locations

  • Independent and proactive individual who can work alone with minimal supervision, and within a team

  • Customer oriented

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

For this role, we are seeking an experienced industry professional who can accept product requirements, distilled from the needs of our internal partners, and coordinate the activities of engineering and validation teams to deliver hardware building blocks that meet those requirements. Example building blocks include server blades, storage systems and computing accelerators (based on GPU, FPGA or full-custom silicon technology). You will coordinate closely with Microsoft's online service suppliers, hardware, software and service engineers, data center and supply chain managers, server manufacturers, component suppliers and others. * Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar field (or similar experience) * 3 years or greater industry experience managing the development of electromechanical devices, from definition to delivery * Direct experience in x86, ARM, or (semi-) custom silicon development * Strong ability to work across multiple organizations * Familiarity with the key elements of server and data center architecture * Ability to take ownership, receiving guidance when appropriate, of assigned projects and be responsible for meeting development commitments * Strong communication skills required, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms * Must be able to plan work and work to your plan, adapting as necessary, in a rapidly evolving environment Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
