The sales development program is designed to accelerate early career development of high potential college graduates to prepare them for mobile careers within the Sales organization at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Position requirements:

  • 0-3 years of work experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry, or relative internship or co-op experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's preferably in the sciences or sales focused

  • Must be flexible to relocation after completion of 3 month training program

  • Proven record of establishing goals and achieving results

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated learning agility

  • Demonstrated leadership ability

EEDPs are currently working to develop & improve exciting new products in Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwashers, and Washers & Dryers. EEDPs work closely with manufacturing and product management to integrate product designs that meet customer needs. The core engineering skills gained in assignments are enhanced through advanced courses in engineering and mentoring from assignment leaders. All of this prepares members with the technical and professional skills needed to launch your career in engineering. What you will Learn & Do Essential Duties & Responsibilities * A 2-3 year entry-level program providing technical rotational assignments * Assignments are engineering positions in various Technology positions throughout GE Appliances, a Haier company * Diverse experiences may include: design engineering, overall systems management, finite element analysis, quality improvement, cost reduction, product reliability, and component & product testing * Technical problem-solving skills developed via advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership * Obtaining a Master's Degree in Engineering is a requirement of the program and is paid for by the company.
