The sales development program is designed to accelerate early career development of high potential college graduates to prepare them for mobile careers within the Sales organization at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Position requirements:

  • 0-3 years of work experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry, or relative internship or co-op experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's preferably in the sciences or sales focused

  • Must be flexible to relocation after completion of 3 month training program

  • Proven record of establishing goals and achieving results

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated learning agility

  • Demonstrated leadership ability

Below are some activities and details associated with the program: * Six month, full time developmental program designed to prepare recent college grads for a career in clinical diagnostic field sales. * Structured classroom learning of professional skill set development, marketplace/industry knowledge and company operations. * Rotational assignments to enhance company/industry knowledge while contributing to the Group's commercial operation's success. * Dedicated leaders and mentors. * Field sales observation and involvement. * Upon successful program completion, program participants will be deployed into field based sales roles within the Specialty Diagnostic Group. Education Bachelor or Master's Degree Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to travel extensively throughout 6 month program. * Desire for career in clinical diagnostic field sales. * Geographic relocation required to destination city determined upon program completion.
