Position Profile

Position Summary:

The Design Assistant provides administrative and design support by utilizing 2020 to fulfill jobs and accurately prepare sales and order packets. This position is also responsible for assisting customers with inquiries quotes and sales by phone or in the showroom.

Organizational Relationship:

Reports directly to Manager Operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide design support by utilizing proprietary systems and 2020 design software to fulfill all aspects of jobs

  • Accurately prepare and process sales and order packets

  • Assist in putting bids together

  • Maintain organized records of design files and job records

  • Track builder sites to determine measures and order timing

  • Acknowledgment tracking

  • Assist customers with inquiries quotes and sales by phone or in person in showroom as required

  • Work cooperatively and share duties as needed

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned at supervisor and/or management's discretion.
