Job Summary:
The Sales Lead is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standard, ensuring product merchandising according to established department, store and company policies and procedures and overseeing work plans of department personnel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service by promoting a fun and exciting shoe shopping experience

  • Ensures department standards are met by maintaining neat, clean and organized aisles/displays according to merchandise flow plan

  • Develops a weekly plan for placing new product on shelves

  • Oversees work of department personnel by explaining aisle maintenance expectations and delegating department tasks

  • Informs management of market trends and department improvements

  • Follows Shoe Carnival policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • One year customer service and product merchandising experience preferred

  • Ability to work flexible work schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel. Collects and processes lab specimens and performs clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods, in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures. Seeks personal learning opportunities. Represents Sanford and its interests in a positive and professional manner. Demonstrates personal commitment to the principles, values, and ethics of the organization to promote a positive work environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Works with quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. Promotes organizational learning through knowledge management, training and development, and sharing key experiences. Plans for specimen management workloads in order to support laboratory testing needs. Monitors the integrity of medical specimens according to testing purposes and requirements. Maintains current certifications in specialty and continues education when necessary. Identifies available resources and support systems for troubleshooting. Elaborates on the applications and domains of specimen collection to innovate better approaches. Collects medical specimens with strict adherence to established procedures and test requisitions. Coaches others on the technical and safety issues of maintaining and disposing of medical specimens. Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices. Adheres to established internal standards and procedures abstracted from Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). DEPARTMENT DETAILS This is a full-time position working 80 hours per pay period. Schedule will be Monday-Friday working between the hours of 6:45am-5:30pm. Rotating weekings will be part of the schedule working Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-12:00pm. Rotating holidays and call. QUALIFICATIONS MLT: Associates degree in Laboratory Science required. Two years of laboratory related experience preferred. Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license, by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. MLT: Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences required. Two years of laboratory related experience preferred. Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or be registry eligible. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) also acceptable. Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.
