Inland Valley Medical Center A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base station and Southwest Riverside County's only Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery. Rancho Springs Medical Center A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region's largest birthing center along with the area's only NICU in combination with Rady Children's Hospital and the region's first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program. As a staff member providing support expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care and customer service by sharing your talent in your chosen field. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. Job Requirements EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: * Associate's degree from an accredited College or University in the field of nursing required. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in the field of nursing preferred. * Minimum of five (5) years recent clinical experience in acute care setting (Critical care, Medical/Surgical or Emergency Medicine) required. * Minimum of three (3) years experience performing CDI reviews in an inpatient acute care setting preferred. * In lieu of above Education requirements, Bachelors of Science Degree in Licensed Vocational Nursing and a minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting (Critical care, Medical/Surgical or Emergency Medicine) required. * Effective 3/1/2019, International Medical Graduate (IMG) will no longer be recognized for meeting job qualification requirements.However, current employees (as of 3/1/2019) holding this position will be considered qualified based on previous education and experience. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: * Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required. * Current certifications for Certified Clinical Documentation Specialists (CCDS), Certified Clinical Improvement Practicioner (CDIP) preferred.
