The Curriculum Specialist within Sales Enablement is a professional-class writer skilled with Instructional Design who works under moderate supervision to develop, update, and deliver exceptional course materials for the PowerSchool Sales organization with a focus on enhancing Sales success. This position works closely with colleagues on the Sales Enablement team as well as with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams at PowerSchool. It also works with subject matter experts to understand education concepts, learner needs, client requirements, and product functionality. Topics could include PowerSchool solutions and products, industry knowledge, business acumen, sales and sales management skills and sales process.
Ideally, this candidate will be in-office positions, located in either Folsom, CA, or Kansas City, KS, which is where our sales organizations reside, and will support all of the Sales Enablement training efforts by designing sales curriculum.

Write instructional content that is clear, easy-to-understand, engaging, and grammatically correct
Develop Sales training and enablement materials that are relevant, practical, and based upon adult learning principles
Incorporate instructional design models appropriate for adult learners, uses team-proven development processes, and adheres to the in-house style guide
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of content and relevance to targeted audience
Participate in peer reviews of materials and courses
Adhere to writing standards and project timelines
Provide status updates as required
Attend team and meetings, as needed
Gain familiarity with the features and benefits of PowerSchool's K-12 Technology products as well as familiarity with the Education Technology industry and business acumen, Sales skills and processes.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (English, Communications, Journalism, or another related field)
Minimum of two years' experience as a writer for adult audiences required
Experience supporting Sales organizations preferred
Experience in K-12 Education a plus
Master's Degree in a related field is a plus
Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
Working knowledge of: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Flash, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and HTML
Working knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, and other technical collaborative environments
Must have a high-level understanding of:
