Sales Counselor

Job Description and Responsibilities

Willow Valley is hiring a Sales Counselor who works to achieve sales goals by educating prospective Residents about Willow Valley Communities and guiding them to select an appropriate residence.

Wage:

• Salaried plus Commission

Responsibilities:

• Works with Manager of Sales to develop sales goals and establish a plan for reaching those goals, including effective time management, coaching, and benchmarking.

• Continuously maintains familiarity with product and program features.

• Maintains expert knowledge of Resident Agreements, Resident Handbooks, etc. in order to accurately answer prospective Resident questions.

• Effectively manages pipeline of prospects and meets expectations on follow up by telephone, notes and emails, through a computerized lead management system.

• Keeps accurate records in CRM.

• Holds appointments with prospective Residents following established sales processes, including evenings and weekends as necessary to close sales.

• Tracks unit inventory in assigned community, alerting other counselors of pending availability and unit condition and makes recommendations to Manager of Sales for unit renovations and combinations.

• Completes all administrative paperwork involving sales and cancellations.

• Participates in planning and execution of Marketing events which may include speaking in front of a group and fielding questions from event attendees.

• Assists in data collection for annual competitive analysis.

• Follows the entire sales process with the prospective Resident from initial visit through move in.

• Helps maintain the Welcome Center to established standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school or

• six months to one year related experience and/or training or

• equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours:

• 40 hrs/week;

• Salaried

Schedule:

• 8:00am-5:00pm
