We are looking for a Sales Coordinator, based in NYC, to oversee our new Residential DTC business at heartwork.com. In addition, the Sales Coordinator will support the sales team with general activities and projects. Our ideal candidate is an organized, energetic, detail-oriented self-starter and team player who has a desire to make a large impact on a growing organization.

Heartwork is a designer and manufacturer of modern office furniture for creative and inspiring workspaces. Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and support all direct heartwork.com inquiries answering any questions and providing information to complete the sale successfully.
  • Manage any post-sale questions.
  • Report weekly on DTC business progress, identify opportunities and escalate any areas for support.
  • Support sales team with general administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years industry experience with furniture, architectural products, interior design, etc.
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced changing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Selfstarter and team player
  • Curious, problem-solver, who loves to identify opportunities and design solutions for change and growth

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years in the Commercial Furniture Industry or DTC sales experience
  • Passionate about design
  • Start-up experience a plus
