Principal Function: The Sales Coordinator is responsible for preparing, arranging, and coordinating sales-related activities in support of sales and executive management.

Essential Duties and

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Processes sales orders, updates and creates work orders, and maintains and updates internal sales tracking systems.
  • Answers and makes sales calls; responds to inbound sales inquiries.
  • Processes orders/invoices and contracts.
  • Creates and maintains sales kits and sends customer-requested materials.
  • Drafts and prepares presentations and proposals for prospective customers.
  • Assists in preparing various documents within sales cycle, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and SOWs.
  • Prepares, arranges, and coordinates sales-related events and projects.
  • Schedules meetings for sales team after proper lead qualification.
  • Generates, maintains, and updates sales reports and prospective client lists.
  • Maintains related sales files and office records.
  • Manages and updates companys contact and account databases.
  • Routes qualified leads to appropriate individual/team for further development and closure.
  • Conducts various administrative tasks, including completing sales reports, business reviews, and operational checklists.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in the logistics and distribution industry is desired.
