Sales Coordinator - Lacks Enterprises

For over 50 years, Lacks Enterprises has been a family owned, privately held world leader in the automotive decorative trim business. With over 20 facilities and 3000 employees in West Michigan our team continues to grow!

As part of that growth we are seeking to add a highly motivated Sales Coordinator with our Global Business Development team. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing inside sales administrative support activities for the Global Business Development and other Grand Rapids office based outside sales personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Processes and functions as the clearinghouse for Sample Request Forms (SRF) and obtains necessary approvals. Coordinates SRF completion with the Advanced Technology Department.

Tracks and organizes all Grand Rapids, Tokyo, and Munich offices sales product samples and display properties.

Provides clerical support, mainly in terms of sales presentation development (PowerPoint), for Grand Rapids based outside sales representatives.

Performs target vehicle benchmarking of trim level decorated content.

May assist in on-site sales presentations, when support is requested by outside sales representatives.

Tracks all work related activities on an open items report. Meets weekly with the department Director to review open items report.

Assists outside sales representatives in the preparation of customer visits to Grand Rapids facilities.

May be assigned special projects by the department Director.

Some minor out-of-town travel to and from either Lacks Novi, MI office or customer locations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
