At Office Depot and Office Max, our;Retail Sales Associate/Sales Consultant is responsible for engaging and providing an exceptional customer service experience.; The associate must quickly build ongoing customer relationships and become a trusted advisor by utilizing advanced selling skills and knowledge (including cross-selling of products and services) to meet the customer's needs.

The associate in this role demonstrates a passion for the brand, product and services; solutions knowledge.; He/she will utilize Office Depot's proven sales principles to proactively engage customers.; The associate must quickly develop product and solution expertise in key areas such as technology, furniture, with a general understanding of copy and print.

VIEW JOBS 3/28/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-26T00:00 Accountable for driving new sales and cross-sell of complex and highly technical treasury management products and services. This position will be the liaison and subject matter expert between the TM sales officers and product teams to ensure client/prospect needs and product requirements are understood, documented and in alignment with current development strategies. Support the sales efforts of TMSO's for clients and prospects through consultative and discovery calling efforts. Provide technical expertise, sales training, tracking and reporting of treasury management products and services. Assist line colleagues in all divisions with ongoing education in the areas of technical sales, TM product solutions, product knowledge, fraud awareness/ prevention and sales skills specific to TM services. Directly responsible for creating and prioritizing gap analysis of TM solutions that could drive new revenue streams within the division. Support the business development activities in all divisions and key verticals in the bank's geographic footprint. Assist sales colleagues with developing sales strategies to aggressively increase new client acquisition, operating deposits and fee income from TM products and services. Coordinate with relationship officers and client management team members in order to acquire new business and strengthen existing client relationships. Coordinate efforts to meet goals with internal resources such as product managers, corporate security, marketing, and sales management. Directly responsible for removing barriers between sales and product management to ensure appropriate information is available through direct training, online resources and the TMSO staff. Basic Qualifications: * *Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * *Minimum 8 years of experience in Treasury Management Sales and Marketing * * Minimum 8 years demonstrated success in sales or product management Skills and Knowledge: * Must have strong sales interactions experience and negotiating skills. * Experience with Sales training and the development of sales training programs. * Knowledge of sales techniques and principles to effectively market financial products and services, including loans, cards, payments and other products, as assigned. * Must have strong written and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills. * Strong PowerPoint experience and skills required. * Ability to gather, arrange, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify sales opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions. * Ability to set priorities, objectives and goals for self and others. * Demonstrates extensive understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, the payments environment and financial services, including personal and business banking. * Knowledge of the practices and regulations that govern the banking industry and the implications of federal, state and local regulations affecting product adoption and delivery. * Knowledgeable of the principles and practices associated with personal and business banking and how financial services support these activities. * Knowledgeable of industry issues and competitive products/services. * Supervisory experience preferred. * Represents basic qualifications for the position.
