Morrie's Auto Group is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team. If you are motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced working environment, then we have an opportunity for you.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide the Buy Happy experience to all customers who enter the dealership, answer questions and helping them select a vehicle that fits their needs

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and managers

  • Keep up-to-date on products, features, and accessories available to successfully train and educate the customer

  • Work closely with Sales and Finance managers to effectively close deals

  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer pick-up, ensure that the customer understands the vehicles operation features, the Buy Happy promises and paperwork

  • Follow up all post-purchase action items including tag/title work

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing

  • Organizational and computer skills are required for the position

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

  • Have a valid state driver's license

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required and a college degree is preferred

Essential Functions * Approaches, greets, and offers assistance to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot * Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and delivers a minimum number of vehicles per month * Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies * Maintains owner follow-up system that encourages repeat business and contributes to customer satisfaction * Maintains a prospect development system * Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner * Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase and fully explains product performance, application, and benefits to prospects * Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive * Follows dealership sales process as directed by Sales Management. Demonstrate new vehicles.
