We are looking for a Sales Consultant who enjoys building a B2B pipeline over the phone, at conferences and via webinars. The ideal candidate will be a team player that is motivated to win deals but knows how to use a consultative sales approach.

You understand launching new product lines and see how Unboxed's training content, sales tools, and learning management systems could help potential clients meet and exceed their goals.

Youll generate qualified sales opportunities by responding to marketing generated leads, inbound interest and targeted outbound prospecting. Youll proactively identify prospects and call on senior level decision makers. You will develop partnerships with resellers and foster on-going relationships to keep Unboxed top of mind.

Persuasive and tenacious, you'll serve as the first impression of Unboxed and our products. You learn quickly, work independently, collaborate effectively, and push yourself to work within a tight timeline.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of lead-generating tools to identify, contact, and qualify prospects in the finance industry.
  • Set appointments to consult with prospective clients and facilitate product demonstrations.
  • Travel to client sites for additional sales presentations and contract negotiations.
  • Review, respond, and follow up on all sales inquiries generated from the Unboxed website, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Regularly meet and exceed lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Log all sales activity in HubSpot to accurately track potential opportunities.
  • Regularly present sales metrics and recommendations to win new prospects.
  • Represent Unboxed at trade shows, conferences, and other events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in sales tools. You know your way around software like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Top-notch communication skills. Youre fluent in Microsoft Office, write clear and concise content, and engage your audience with new business presentations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. You stay on top of all forms of communication and make sure there are no loose ends.
  • Self-starter attitude. You adapt quickly to change, are comfortable with ambiguity, and easily manage your tasks.
  • Up to 20% travel required
  • You are able to work in a dynamic, changing environment with minimal direction

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience in the Finance industry required, specifically as:
    • External wholesaler
    • Internal Wholesaler
    • Investment company trainer
    • Investment company product line owner
