Due to encouraging business growth, we’re expanding our team at Scanning Pens, Inc.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated, talented, and experienced Sales Consultant to join our award-winning company and to work within an agile global business which promotes portable assistive technology for use by adults and children with dyslexia and other learning challenges.

You must live in (and work from) Dallas.

Scanning Pens is one of the largest suppliers of portable text to speech in the world and represents many of the leading manufacturers of this type of technology. We are a passionate group of people working to build a world class team to roll out our vision of how these tools can change lives. Scanning Pens currently have businesses in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and India.

Our Sales Advisors initiate contact with leads from a variety of sources that are given to them. They are responsible for the organization of these leads as well as continuous follow-up by a mix of phone calls and emails with the intended outcome of setting up free trials for schools and scheduling meetings.

This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for someone with great communication skills looking to learn and build a career in education-based sales.

This is not a hard sales approach company; we are a consultative group bridging some gaps in education today.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications

  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience in a telesales role preferred but not necessary
  • Previous work in Education or Special Education sales preferred but not necessary
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be willing to work agreed upon hours
  • Passionate and energetic
  • Looking to work in a team of focussed and enigmatic (and fun!) people
