Kyriba is looking for a talented Sales Compensation Analyst to support the sales compensation needs of our global teams. This role will support the business strategy, operational needs, analysis and administration of compensation plans for our Direct and Channel sales teams. This position will be based in San Diego, CA and will report to the Vice President of Global Sales Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas.
Support our sales teams in all commission related matters. Engage with sales employees to research and accurately resolve commission related issues.
Distribute sales commission documents and ensure agreements are execute.
Partner with sales management to track quotas and changes by seller and team.
Develop, maintain and update systems and processes to report and track commission or sales team metrics.
Perform ad-hoc reporting and data analysis for sales management and Finance to drive business insight.
Work on special projects such as process improvement, training and presentations.
Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.
Perform cost analysis or modeling of alternative commission/incentive plan design or quota levels.
May prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, or other related sales compensation plans.
Analyze sales performance results, prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors' degree in Business or related area of study.
5 - 7 years sales commission experience.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and commission modeling skills.
Well-organized, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task with moderate supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Experience in Sales Operations or Finance supporting Sales a plus.
Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Experience with Xactly a plus.
