Responsible for the ongoing updates in an SQL database containing commission data. Will handle template inputs, changes, and final calculation updates. There is currently little automation in the commission processes so it is imperative to manage updates in the commission database and ensure that they are done correctly without error. Each error impacts rep payment and may result in over-payment in the following month, followed by unnecessary re-work.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Conducts data analysis and testing to ensure the integrity of data during conversion, migration & loading process
Consolidation and integration of data from multiple sources into a single reporting environment using reports, SQL queries and migration programs
Manage multiple, variable tasks and data review processes, as well as mass data entry, maintenance, and update projects
Ability to manipulate, validate and organize large amounts of data for internal payments.
Continuously improve work processes that affect data quality and timeliness
Producing reports consisting of tables and charts for Quality Assurance
Hands on experience writing moderate to complex SQL Queries
Create report and data reconciliation through Access, Excel, Power BI, Tableau and other reporting tools
2-4 years business and/or technical/academic training on Data Management tools, financial analysis, reporting, including report development
SQL skills highly desired
Comfortable working with ambiguity
Highly motivated self-starter, often taking initiative before being asked
Ability to adapt to rapid change and think creatively
High attention to detail with ability to extract data accurately.
Logical analytical mind and the ability to recognise discrepancies
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookup tables), and other data mining tools
Excellent communication skills required to present findings and translate data into an understandable documents or presentations
