JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Role will lead the tactical application of commission programs through the execution of complex analytics processes, policies, and reporting related to Sales compensation and how each applies to the individual sales rep. The employee will partner with our Sales Analytics team on commission related questions/resolutions tied to specific compensation programs. The position will require a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as a strong working relationship with field personnel. The role's tasks will include conducting regular reviews of commission trends with multiple levels of field management as well as general commission plan support. This person will also help drive the strategic direction of the programs through feedback and input derived from monthly and quarterly metrics.
Commission program analysis and support
Work independently to build and maintain extensive database queries and fulfill complex data extraction requests
Develop database models and maintenance tools to improve efficiencies and assist with commission related decision making tied to field performance and staffing levels
Provide ongoing assistance and continuous improvement of Sales Analytics Support mailbox and phone support communications related to specialty compensation plan commissions
Create and distribute monthly/quarterly goal measures and reporting
Support the development and use of Sunbelt's CRM related initiatives
Commission program analysis and support
Provide in-depth analysis and clear explanation of multiple sales representative commission plans in line with Sunbelt's commission programs and policies across multiple specialty sales comp programs
Partner with senior field management to analyze plan results to drive rep alignment with divisional goals
Ensure sales representative effectiveness by maintaining and supporting KPI reports measuring sales performance and appropriate sales coverage
Develop and maintain interdepartmental relationships needed to achieve company level objectives
Manage and assist with development of business intelligence reporting
Consult with senior field management to assist with efficient onboarding of new sales representatives
Take direction from Senior Commission Analyst and other support office management
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Education & Experience:
BS/ BA in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related major and a minimum of two years of experience in related field
Microsoft SQL, Access, and Excel experience required as well as understanding of other core Microsoft Office Programs
Relational database knowledge and understanding is critical
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
