ADP is hiring a Sales Automation Consultant/Developer. In this position you will be responsible for designing comprehensive solutions to support the sales process and improve productivity. You will be responsible for technical development on projects that have broad organizational impact leveraging mobile enterprise solutions including sales automation, marketing automation, configure/price/quote (CPQ), electronic signature, contract lifecycle management, and data reporting and analytics. You'll perform evaluation of business requirements, recommend solutions, define technical requirements, custom develop, and participate in deployment of solutions. Act as the technical expert in application functionality and core sales automation applications.
BA/BS Degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications required.
Salesforce Architect Domain certifications a plus.
Trailhead Ranger status, with Apex Specialist, Advanced Apex Specialist, and Lightning Component Framework Specialist Superbadges preferred.
5 or more years development experience with sales and marketing automation solutions.
Experience with ADP products/industry a plus.
Proven technical leadership, prioritization, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to design and optimize technical systems in support of organizational processes.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Experience working with a full spectrum of tools needed to design solutions, including Salesforce.com or other sales automation solutions, CPQ or other pricing solutions, electronic/digital signatures, Eloqua or other marketing automation solutions, Seismic, Cognos, Crystal Reports or other data analysis and reporting solutions, contract lifecycle management solutions, and other technologies that support a large mobile sales or implementation organization.
Proficiency and fluency with Salesforce platform technologies including Apex classes and triggers, Dynamic Apex, Visualforce pages and components, Lightning components, SOQL/SOSL languages, Salesforce1 mobile implementation strategies, and the Salesforce APIs (3 years or more).
Experience with Salesforce DX a plus.
A deep understanding of multiple environment strategies, enterprise-level design patterns, and development best practices.
Experience with practicing agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration/delivery.
Work with product owners to size, scope, and define technical requirements and help transform them into actionable work.
Technical writing and documentation experience a plus.
Take impactful, innovative ideas from concept, to implementation, to rollout.
Work with stakeholders to help refine requirements and develop to those requirements.
Build upon and improve Salesforce Classic and Lightning ecosystems for Business Units.
Ensure business realization of strategic objectives through the management of multiple highly complex projects with multiple dependencies.
Lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.
Create end-user testing scripts and release notes and lead UAT sessions.
System Administration of enterprise wide sales automation tools.
Stay current with sales automation tools, industry standards and best practices providing updates to counterparts in Sales Solutions.
