Job Summary/Description:

This ideal sales support position can serve as a springboard for advancement into advertising sales! WOIO/WUAB/Telemundo is searching for an organized, detail-oriented team player who will start in a sales support role, work closely with the sales team, and have the opportunity to train for an entry-level Account Executive position. This candidate will need to perform at a high level in the sales support role. Candidates will need to be eager to learn, work independently, be meticulously accurate, and be motivated to start a career in sales. The sales support role will include effective placement of sales activity, processing advertising contracts, obtaining creative materials, entering sales orders, and overall assisting the sales team.

Duties/Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited:

• You will assist Sales in building presentations as well as provide client campaign performance reports

• Order entry, Digital Sales Support, Support Sales team with Account Management

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Candidates should be highly proficient and have experienced computer skills. 1-2 years of sales background is desired

• Strong work ethic, and organizational skills

• Great communication skills, self-motivated

• Can work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

• Microsoft Office experience, ability to build sales presentations, and eager to learn

• College student, junior or senior, earning a degree in Sales, Business or Broadcasting fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience
