Job Description

Position Purpose: The Sales / Cashiers are responsible for ensuring we provide exceptional customer service. The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, and merchandise products, and support the store management team. The person should fluidly adjust their daily role to fit the specific company needs and embrace the core values of Kabelin Hardware Company. Key Accountabilities: -Fully Embrace the Kabelin Core Values

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards

• Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management via Trello

• Always be working on your own development with guidance from your Management team

• Assist in the training and development of peers

• Actively participate in daily huddle meetings

• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards

• Guarantee all customers can process through the register in a timely and convenient manner

• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized

• Responsive to safety issues - identify them and inform the management team immediately Conscious of shoplifting activity

• Aid customers in locating merchandising in store, on acehardware.com, as well as, processing special orders

• Actively participate in the Ace Rewards program and share the benefits with our customers

• Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures and policies

• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

• Maintain work areas that are safe and presentable

• Work a schedule that best suits the needs of our customers in an assigned role with a focus on productivity

• Be responsible and maintain a strong work ethic

• Always be flexible as it relates to your role

Requirements

• Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.

• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction

• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

• Able and willing to learn new things

• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth $9.00-$11.00
