Our Sales Associates adhere to high standards and serve a critical role in representing our neighborhoods in each community. Typical duties performed include:

Job Requirements:

  • Developing relationships with customers

  • Procuring and following up on sales leads for our communities

  • Networking & prospecting

  • Maintaining quality customer service and leading buyers throughout New Home Sales process

  • Negotiating and closing deals

  • Completing accurate and timely contract paperwork

  • Obtaining and analyzing market data critical for our communities to remain competitive

  • Strong computer skills (CRM experience a plus)

  • Willingness to work weekends

  • Maintaining standard sales office hours but understand flexibility to meet customer schedules is a priority

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience, college degree preferred
  • A Real Estate License is required in all states except CO, MD & VA

Preferred Experience / Background:

  • 1-2 years of New Home Sales Experience

  • Prior High End Retail Sales

  • Any Proven Track Record of Sales Success

Position Summary: Nextiva is seeking a Channel Director for our West Region, to join our organization. Regional Channel Directors win, maintain, educate, and expand relationships with their channel management team. Channel Managers are responsible for achieving sales, profitability, education and Channel Manager recruitment objectives in the hosted communications and collaboration market. Channel Directors represent the entire range of company products and services, Nextiva policies, and sales education to assigned Channel Managers. Channel Directors must exhibit several key abilities, including, but not limited to: background selling solutions based technology solutions (preferably in the hosted VoIP space), effective channel recruitment strategies, conducting in-person sales calls, leading a team, and having a history of helping Channel Managers achieve a high level of performance. Responsibilities * Establishes productive, professional relationships with both their channel team as well as internal Nextiva personnel. * Able to recruit, educate, and nurture their own channel managers to achieve success. * Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, technical and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations. * Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in - their own team. * Proactively leads a joint Channel Manager planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive Channel Manager relationship. * Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates Channel Manager needs on an ongoing basis. * Helps Channel Managers by meeting with their partner organizations, helping facilitate more sales of Nextiva services. * Lends ideas on solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel. * Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements. * Drives adoption of company programs among assigned Channel Managers. * Proactively recruits new qualifying Channel Managers. * Education and sales accountability of their team. * Effective communication to Channel Directors and President on the status of their region. * Create and implement a regional channel strategy. * Extensive travel working with their team and their partners. * Achieves assigned monthly sales quota in designated Channel Managers * Meets assigned expectations for profitability. * Completes Channel Manager plans that meet company standards. * Maintains Channel Manager satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. * Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame. * Maintains Channel Manager monthly recurring growth month over month. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Journalism or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. * Minimum of five years' experience in Channel Partner Management and/or Sales Management, Business Development. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. * Excellent organization skills; superior attention to detail. * Excellent ability to identify and hire great Channel Management talent * Excellent presentation skills. * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to exercise assertiveness to influence others so as to create desired sales results. * Ability to follow directions from remote manager. * Ability to work the required hours of the position. * Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, at times on short notice.
