General Summary The small engine repair technician will be serving as a mechanic in an established repair shop that currently services a variety of gas powered equipment; as well as, performing sales associate duties. Essential skills and attributes include the following • Driven and motivated individual to work in an engine repair shop providing minor repairs for various gas powered equipment. • Experience preferred. On the job training, online training, and Stihl Service Technician training provided. • Ability to follow directions and specific diagnostic steps to ensure quality repairs and service. • Courteous customer service and communication regarding work estimates, parts sales, and repair services. • Ability to use a computer for parts inquiries and ordering.
