Reports To: Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Management Trainee)

Overview:

Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise ("Every Day Should Feel This Good") and makes service a top priority.

Functions & Responsibilities:

  • -Generate Sales

  • Responsible for meeting their goals/measures

  • Develops and maintains relationships with top customers

  • Supports in-store event sourcing and execution

  • -Customer Experience

  • Ensures the store reflects Shep & Ian's vision of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" to our customers through "Hosting the Party"

  • Leads the store in email capture and educating new associates on best practices

  • Ensures the customer wish list is always current with customers being notified when product arrives.

  • -Crew Development

  • Assists with training new associates

  • Helps foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment

  • Helps in recruiting and referring top talent for the store's teams

  • Supports store and team-building activities with the management team

  • -Operations

  • Maintains efficient merchandise controls

  • Maintains loss prevention awareness at all times

  • Helps maintain a clean and tidy store environment

  • -Merchandising

  • Helps to maintain merchandising as it pertains to company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives

  • Contributes to weekly product feedback

This position works under the direct supervision of the registered Radiologic Technologist and is responsible for basic supportive care to specified patients/families. This position assists in providing Radiographic services that support the Radiology Mission of high quality, efficient care with emphasis on serving the unique needs of each customer. What Will You Be Doing? * Supports the philosophy and objectives of Children's Hospital and the Radiology Department interprets these to patient, parents, and hospital staff. * Maintains a responsible attitude toward individual performance in accordance with approved policies and procedures. * Prepares patients for plain film and Fluoroscopy procedures in accordance with established protocols. * Prepares all related documentation for procedures as prescribed by section protocols. * Enter, modifies, and cancels RMS orders as requested by Staff Radiographer. * Maintains stocking of accessory supplies, patient care items, and cleanliness of general radiographic areas. * Assist with transportation of patients to the Emergency Department following radiographic procedures.8. Maintains knowledge of current applications in the field of Radiologic Technology through seminars, educational programs, and self-study. * Responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks and direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Technologist. * Responsible for performing a variety of non-technical tasks and indirect patient care activities. * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments/service lines, physicians and staff. * Establishes and maintains strong positive communication with patients and families. * Represents the department?s customer service focus to both internal and external contacts. This shall include appropriate speech, mannerisms, and personal presentation as outlined in the Radiology Department Code of Conduct. * Complies with radiation and general safety policies. * Complies with CHI, Radiology, JCAHO, OSHA, and other regulatory guidelines and policies. * Assists with the implementation of established safety regulations and required to respond correctly in emergency situations including: code blue, contrast media reactions, emergency operations plan, and trauma alerts. * Accepts other duties, responsibilities and/or special projects as assigned by Department Manager, 2nd /3rd shift Team Leader, or designated Staff Radiographer to maintain section and department function. Qualifications What Are We Looking For? To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess these minimum qualifications and experience: * High school graduate or equivalent. * Currently a student in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. * Minimum of three quarters experience as a student radiographer preferred. * Ability to learn new procedures and follow instructions. * Possesses a high level of professionalism and the ability to establish good rapport with patients, staff, and physicians.? Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills. * Current CPR certification required. Minimum Physical Requirements: * This position requires constant talking, hearing, standing, stooping, lifting, hand dexterity, bending, walking, and seeing to effectively perform varied * General Radiography procedures (100%) * Essential Job Functions: Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read, and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with little or no difficulty. * Must be able to independently lift up to 50 lbs. * Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person(s) and/or equipment.
