Sales Associates provide friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance for the purpose of insoles. Sales Associates will examine the customer's feet using our technology, and determine what kind of shape/ issue the customer has with their feet. After examining their feet, they will match an appropriate insole/ accessory for that customer. Sales Associates will also perform the following functions: customer service, signing up new Rewards members, cashiering, store operations, and merchandising. Sales Associates must demonstrate behaviors that align with company values of Passion, Accountibility, Collaboration, and Humility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service, Sales and Engagement- Engage and greet shoe lovers within store and provides information regarding Fit Step Pro (FSP). Drive sales by performing complimentary foot examination and consultation, suggesting appropriate insoles for the customer to purchase and engaging in one-to-one selling. Maintains client follow-up. Adjusts customer's insoles as needed. Follows the DSW Rewards program and its benefits while ensuring thorough service. Answers questions about merchandise within the store. Maintains client book.
Cashiering and Cash Handling- Rings up customer transactions while following the DSW cash handling policies and register procedures, Counts money, makes change, verifies amount, and issues receipts. Reads and interprets price ticket information, operates a calculator, and entires data via terminal keyboard.
Area Operations- Maintains a cleand and organized area.
Merchandising- Unloads department merchandise from trucks, places merchandise on the sales floor per DSW standards, completes markdowns, maintains clearance area standards, fills accessories, organizes and maintains the stockroom related to department merchandise.
Personal Development- Actively participates in daily Huddles and ongiong training. Is open to and responsive to coaching and feedback.
Other Duties- Performs other duties as assigned by the management team.

Able to learn which insole is the best fit for the customer

Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales
Available to work nights and weekends
