Sales Assistant:
Townsquare Media - Cedar Rapids is looking for a sales assistant for Senior Account Executives. Candidate will support Account Executives in securing revenue and providing superior customer service. This candidate also needs to be an organized self-starter who can talk to clients and help develop successful marketing strategies.
The successful candidate should have strong communication skills. This person is eager to build relationships and value in our community and is an excellent communicator within the building and with clients. This position requires someone who will collaborate extensively with the other members of Townsquare Media and our clients.
Responsibilities:
Administrative
Ticket distribution
Collecting client payment (checks, sending credit card forms, etc.)
Review Accounts Receivable and contact clients when needed for payment
Preparing registration boxes/prizes for our live remote broadcasts
Assisting with station/client events as needed
Creative
Support completing information required for creative briefs
Obtain information required for creating scripts, and write scripts as needed
Submitting creative tickets & creative revision tickets to Creative Service team
Helping with missing client ad copy
Campaign Launches
Being the liaison to get items needed for campaign launches:
Social: connecting to client social pages/accounts. Sending instructions to client and confirming with Digital Campaign Manager (DCM) when completed to get client connected
Creative: requesting and gathering images/video from client so we have all items needed for submitting creative ticket
Pixels: sending client pixels and/or pixel instructions and confirming pixel placement once completed
Sending SEM builds to clients for approval. Sending back to DCM for revisions or approval
Dstillery Pixels - being proactive in sending pixels to clients so we can track client website visitors for best audience segments/behaviors to target
Connecting clients to our TownSquare Analytics (TSA) platform
Reporting
Pulling monthly digital client reports (TSA, TapClicks, etc.)
Pulling Wrap Reports (3-month, 6-month, 1-year)
Providing insights on all reports
Research
Pulling Dstillery Reports for Account Executive prospecting
Pulling Dstillery Data for Account Executive upsell opportunities
Requesting LAM numbers on our behalf for LEADME as-needed
Preparing Proposals
Pulling SEM Matchcraft data for Budget Potential
Putting together client proposals once provided direction on which tactics, budget, etc. to include
Completing and submitting trade agreement paperwork
Updating sales staff collateral as needed, having printed copies of commonly-used paperwork ready in-office, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
4-year college degree preferred or equivalent education
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in writing
Problem-solving and decision-making
