Here's what a typical day may look like:
Collect/Upload Documents received by banker
Administrative process of uploading and labeling documents as well as completing the piping process (responsible for submitting clean and complete files)
Manage kick-back files and accountable for results
Order COE for sales (Pre-lock Activity)
Appraisal in validating pricing changes and communicating to Banker
Print/Highlight disclosures that need to be mailed out
Become fluent in running Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector and interpreting results
Reviewing conditional approvals and assist in meeting conditions
Manage loan pipeline for 1-5 bankers
Contact 3rd parties to get pay offs, notes, change of insurance
Contact with clients as needed
Prepare and scrub files prior to submitting to an Underwriter
Review income documents to calculate income
Be able to troubleshoot loans
Become an expert in loan programs and qualifications
Ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment
1-2 years in a professional environment
