Sales Assistant

General Statement of Duties:

Provide client service and sales support to Business Bankers. Prepare account opening documentation. Work on resolving compliance issues.

Supervision Received:

Reporting to Business Banking Team Leader

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Business Bankers in the on-boarding of new clients and maintenance of existing client relationships.

• Manage customer inquiries and service issues for Business Bankers

• Follow up on account and product documentation exceptions.

• Compile weekly and monthly management reports e.g. (pipeline, incentive, call activity, etc.

• Cross sell banking products when appropriate.

• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Perform additional accountabilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Prior bank experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Committed to providing a high standard of customer service to Business Banking clients

• Ability to multitask, embrace change and adapt to changing procedures

• Strong math and analytical skills

• Take ownership of problem resolution

Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000

Hours: 37.50

This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if hours worked are over 40 hours.

The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
