ATS has an immediate opening for a Sales and Support Representative I.
This individual will be responsible for providing customers with accurate information on all repair, resale, exchange, and purchase options available in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities will include:
Listening and responding to customer questions and probing for customer needs via telephone, while applying product knowledge to help customers with routine and emergency situations
Maintaining customer database
Computing price, discount, and shipping charges
Initiating purchase requisitions
Following up on quotes, parts exchanges, and orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
Tracking defects and customer calls
Receiving and following up on customer complaints
Informing customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer
Preparing various reports for management
Attaining knowledge of customer contracts
Developing customer profile for customers within area of responsibility
This position is in a high volume call center that will be focused on inbound and outbound calls to mostly existing customers and some new customers. The person will be calling the customer to review business history and gather information about the customer's needs that will be used to offer solutions. Written scripts will be made available.
Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical institution and 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to learn and use sophisticated computer software.
Must be a team player and self-motivated
Ability to prioritize and stay organized
Possess outstanding people and communication skills for interaction with other team members, customers, and management
Keyboarding/typing speed of at least 30 words / minute
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
