The Sales and Service Strategy Consultant is responsible for leadership and execution of strategic and tactical sales and service initiatives and projects that support Distribution/Retail, Business Banking and Wealth Management. This individual will lead and partner with the Sales and Service Development Managers and ensure delivery of timely, accurate and supportive tools, initiatives and projects that will lead to achievement of product volume targets by our frontline colleagues. This role will be aligned and partner directly with one of the core business in the Consumer Bank which includes Distribution/Retail, Consumer Deposits and Lending, Customer Banking Preferences, Wealth, Coaching, and Business Banking. This alignment will ensure that the Sales and Service Strategy Consultant builds a strong partnership role with one of these core functions and is closely aligned with this function/specialization and their specific needs.
Primary responsibilities include:
Providing a strategic partnership role that aligns with our core business lines and functions
Work in partnership with Sales & Service Strategy Consultant Manager who is te direct manager of the Sales and Service Development Managers to ensure quality product/initiative is delivered
Translating marketing programs into sales execution activities in an effort to support Consumer and Business Banking sales targets
Coaching and partnering with a team of colleagues (SSD Development partners) responsible for the creation of sales tools and initiatives
Serving as liaison with key leadership in Marketing and the Consumer Finance to drive forward changes to impact sales performance of our frontline colleagues
Developing and coordinating a fully integrated sales campaign working with the appropriate partners - program content, contests, sales tips and tools, job aids and sales aids
Acting as a subject matter expert and advocate for Consumer & Business Banking in the creation of sales tools and support
Driving continuous improvements to deliver better productivity and customer satisfaction
5 years of management experience of frontline colleagues (Retail, Business Banking or Wealth Management)
5-10 years of experience in Retail Banking with knowledge of small business banking and investment banking (mass market)
5 years of management experience in financial services industry
Prior experience managing initiatives
Strong ability to build partnerships
Outstanding customer service, customer relations and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:30am
