  • Oversee makeup and welfare of customer base.

  • Direct and coordinate inside and outside sales functions, which include all sales desk order personnel, local outside salespeople and all sales representatives throughout the country.

  • Set sales strategy, rules and guidelines in accordance with Executive Management.

  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements, and monitor the preferences of customers.

  • Ensure that backlog and margins are in place to support revenue goals and profitability.

  • Update key company reports and metrics

  • Coordinate with Production Control and Shipping Departments as needed.

Production Control:

  • Provide direction to production control personnel

  • Update key company reports and metrics

  • Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly production targets and schedules

  • Perform capacity analysis

  • Make recommendations based on capacity and production analyses

  • Coordinate with Operations and Sales personnel as needed

  • Schedule and monitor production inputs and outputs


  • B.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years of increasing levels of sales responsibilities, preferably in the aerospace fasteners industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.

  • Experience in monitoring/assessing performance of other individuals to make improvements or take corrective action.

  • High level of tact and diplomacy to effectively deal with complex internal and external sales issues.

  • Aggressive and proactive in top line sales growth strategies with measurable results.

  • Ability to travel

This position is responsible for developing, planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of health and safety programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. The position will be point of contact for OSHA compliance and Workers' Compensation issues. He/she will review, evaluate, and analyze the work environment and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent injuries. This position drives the EHS culture and supports the operations by successfully supporting organizational health and safety initiatives. Responsibilities: * Overall responsibility for workplace safety and health planning meetings * Maintain all safety and training related documentation for internal or OSHA inspection * Coordinate and train all employees in any health and safety subject matter * Serve as point person for all health and safety audits and follow-up on completion of any tasks identified through those audits * Provide leadership in developing measures and practices that that prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards; includes continuously monitoring the workplace for hazardous safety and health conditions * Assess engineering and administrative controls, as well as PPE on an on-going basis * Ensure the results of safety inspections are documented; monitor the investigation of accidents and injuries; ensure corrective actions are taken and provide recommendations for ways to prevent similar accidents * Conduct scheduled safety audits throughout the manufacturing and distribution center * Responsible for Environmental Title V Air Permit, underground storage tanks * Responsible for storm water permit program Qualifications: * Prior related experience in a manufacturing health and safety role * Prior experience with green/bio-solvents, ketone type solvents and chlorinated solvents * Solid knowledge of OSHA and Workers' Compensation rules and regulations, especially those that apply to the manufacturing industry; Safety Professional Certification highly desired * Prior experience developing and implementing safety initiatives and training for employee programs * Knowledge of industrial hygiene practice (vapor/noise) and hazardous material/waste handling * Passion for working with people to maintain the safety and well-being of all employees * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Occupational Safety & Health, or Manufacturing Technology/Engineering/Management preferred IPS Corporation Gardena CA
