After a challenging pandemic, we are rebuilding as our clients are asking more and more of us in the year ahead. Today we have more people on the team than we did going into the pandemic, and as we continue to grow, new positions are being added to help us scale the business. Part of that expansion is adding this position.

The avad3 Sales and Marketing Manager will serve customers by helping in the initial phases of their shows and shoots. Leading our marketing efforts through our website, content and social media helps build trust with new clients letting them see our work and hear from current client testimonials. Leading our sales gives customers an accessible point of contact to discuss and kickstart new projects while our production managers and techs are busy in the field serving todays projects. At our current size, this positions responsibility includes managing one other teammate, our content creator. In the years ahead we believe this position has potential to grow with greater responsibilities and opportunities.

The ideal qualified candidate has a passion for event and video production, experience staying organized in a customer-facing role, and management experience overseeing others. This is not an outbound, commission-reliant sales role. We have a proven track record of doing over 145 projects each year. The person in this role will be expected to proactively connect with previous year clients, discuss their needs, and help them budget for upcoming projects months in advance by quoting based on client and team feedback. We believe sales and marketing are two sides of the same coin, and the daily interaction with todays customers should strategically inform the direction given to your content creator for tomorrows marketing to help prospective customers find us online. As the leader of the sales and marketing department, this role reports directly to and supports the strategic initiatives of our owner.

Requirements

    Every member of this team is known for professionalism and passion for production.
  • 2-3 years experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
  • Demonstrates excellent communication (listening, writing, and speaking)
  • Production experience (relevant examples: live event, video, broadcast, hospitality A/V)
  • Skilled at interpersonal conflict resolution, assertively resolving problems proactively
  • Management experience
  • Organizationally capable of keeping hundreds of project quotes moving for customers throughout the year
