Responsible for monitoring and coordinating statistical information to support sales functions, monitoring sales achievements vs. sales plan and previous years, developing analytical reports based on market intelligence and providing information to the sales planning process based on knowledge of market data. The Sales Analyst also prepares reports for and works with sales and marketing during the planning process, monitors sales and analyzes performance trends to identify issues and opportunities.
Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:
Responsible for direct management and alignment of current customer retail functions in planning, logistics, customer service
Develop new business opportunities outside of existing customer base
Responsible for understanding all current customer data processes (such as Walmart Retail Link)
Responsible for managing and execution of PMDM process
Responsible for managing and reporting all Consumer Affairs issues with Pet Treats
Responsible for managing the returns/rejections processes
Responsible for managing the customer complaints processes outside of Consumer Affairs
Responsible for providing administrative level support to sales as it relates to collections, deductions, pricing, etc.
Responsible for facilitating new customer onboarding processes
Responsible for developing and managing customer service related performance metrics
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on customer contract compliance

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field and 2+ years' experience in data analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales experience with all retail trade classes preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access).
Experience with Business Warehouse, SAP, Blacksmith, Vistex, Sales Discovery or ERP/MRP is preferred.
Experience with Nielsen/IRI and other syndicated data, preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills.
Self-starter, demonstrates initiatives and commitment, able to lead teams and be a solid team member.
