Sales Analyst
We are currently in search of a Sales Analyst to join our Sales department of the Marquardt Group in our location Rochester Hills (USA).
The Inside Sales Analyst is responsible for maintaining customer relations and providing sales support for primarily automotive OEM customers. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting contract maintenance, customer change notices, tooling administration, warranty management, and forecasting.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide daily contact and support with existing customers, including use of OEM supplier portals
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Coordinate with production, shipping and logistics regarding delivery of customer orders
Create and maintain updated customer records including contact, product information, and customer profiles
Act as resource for customers and their end users regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability
Complete order entry and change notice entry into SAP and supplier portals
Coordinate, follow up and track leads and samples
Track and confirm delivery of expedited and/or priority shipments
Monitor all special pricing, contract pricing structures, complaints
Support tooling administration
Support the sales team with the quotation process
Support the sales team with forecasting and updating
Complete sales deviation analysis and warranty tracking
Support the finance department regarding customer payment issues
Load contracts into PLM for review
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in a related field, Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of related experience supporting a sales team; experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred
Experience interfacing with customers in a fast paced environment
Advanced computer skills, including the use of SAP, PLM, and MS Office software.
Advanced verbal communication skills, including group presentation
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, and the general public
Ability to work across departments of the organization in a team environment
Ability to learn technical specifications to represent our products
Ability to multi-task and independently manage workload
Strong planning and organization skills
Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents
Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
