Position Overview

The Client & Product Solutions group is looking for a motivated Analyst to join the Sales team to learn and support the business. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of marketing and responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working with sales and product team to provide support on team deliverables, including presentations, data management and bespoke projects for Sales professionals

  • Responsible for completing and/or reviewing internal and external meeting memorandums and presentations

  • Coordinating group investor meetings including roadshows & product diligence sessions

  • Assisting the Client Solutions team in end-to-end sales process including prospective investor research and meeting preparation

  • Utilizing CRM data to support Apollo's full product suite

  • Working closely with the firm's investment professionals to coordinate thought leadership distributions

  • Researching various databases and maintaining internal CRM systems with up-to-date investor information

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-3 years of prior experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm, fixed income investment firm, investment bank, consulting firm, or other high caliber institution

  • Experience in a sales, marketing or other client facing role is additive through not a pre-requisite

  • Strong work ethic, acute attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a willingness and desire to learn and work well within a team are critical

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate complexity with simplicity

  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities

  • Professional and personal integrity

We actively engage with our business partners to enable them and Finance to achieve Facebook's goals. Our work, whether it's identifying trends, analyzing return on investment, or modeling business scenarios, is used by the leaders of the GMS team to make strategic company decisions. Successful candidates for this team will have a bias toward action, exceptional partnership, communication, & stakeholder management skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while moving fast and adapting to change. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, strategic decision making, and forecasting and reporting activities for the GMS sales organization. You will act as a part internal strategic consultant, part financial business partner to several executives. This includes leading planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics & strategic decision support for the NA and LATAM sales regions. This position will also help consolidate reporting and planning across the Global Sales team. AMERICAS REGIONAL SALES FINANCE MANAGER, GLOBAL MARKETING SOLUTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES * Create strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and functions across GMS, including Sales and Sales Operations Influence business partner decisions through insightful synthesis of revenue and expense analytics Provide financial leadership across headcount, opex, and revenue planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals, and management reporting Build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions and measure the efficacy of various programs Optimize existing monthly, quarterly, & annual forecasting processes and reporting MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree Experience in financial planning 10+ years of experience of increasing responsibilities in management consulting, investment banking, financial planning, and/or corporate strategy Experience influencing senior leadership of organizations as both an advocate and an assessor of their initiatives, programs, and objectives Interpersonal, communication, project management, and presentation experience Experience in Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * MBA Experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase or similar ERP system Experience with SQL and associated data analysis Experience self-starting & direct work in an unstructured environment Experience multi-tasking, prioritizing, and delivering impact in a fast-paced environment Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
