TransUnion (TU) is a leading provider of data driven solutions. We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join the Public Sector. The Sales Advisor (SA) will focus on the digital marketing space and work closely with the Public Sector sales executives to lead the technical & functional aspects of opportunities. The SA will be involved in early phases of the sales cycle, will coordinate activities across product specialists and on opportunities requiring integration and customization, the SA's responsibilities will extend through coordinating deliveries and consulting on data interpretation. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the strategic vision and subsequent advancement opportunities in this high growth vertical. We are looking for a creative problem solver with intense customer and market focus. The right candidate will be able to communicate with C-level executives, business users, and technical architects and developers
What You'll Bring:
10+ years in a pre-sales, sales or account management role supporting the sale of data, software or services.
Openness and ability to upskill and learn new technologies/programming languages for proof-of-concept opportunities.
Experience supporting Ad/PR agencies and/or Federal and State governments.
Excellent client facing manner and presentation skills
Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to attain a U.S. Government sponsored security clearance
Impact You'll Make:
Partner with Business leaders to develop and implement a GTM plan that aligns with TU's business goals and growth initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the digital marketing space
Work directly with sales to co-sell TransUnion solutions across Federal, State and Local, and partner markets.
Provide industry and solution set expertise. This is a key function of the role. Being able to understand the Ad/PR agency relationships and how they map to public sector markets and use cases.
Work directly with internal product stakeholders to prioritize feature development, build prototypes, and demonstrate/visualize live connections to TransUnion's GUIs, APIs, and batch environments.
Evaluate RFP technical requirements for TU ability to deliver, identify and solve for technical gaps, support the bid/no-bid decision process, and lead technical aspects of a response.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
