What you'll do
The role of the Sales Advisor is to assist the Sales & Marketing department to sell all available inventories of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Assisted Living units. Although this position will specialize in the sales for Independent Living, cross selling is also needed at the communities. This position will also manage day to day administrative functions, assist with planning of special events, and other hospitality related duties for prospective residents of the community.
Manage the needs of prospective Residents, providing timely responses to all inquiries and scheduling site visits / appointments.
Provide community tours for guests as well as during events if applicable.
Respond to telephone inquiries and personal tours.
Send applications and brochures to individuals expressing interest in the community.
Assist current residents and families in times of transition by providing information on resident options.
Coordinate the admission and move in process.
Process deposits and keep accurate records for new sales.
Act as initial point of contact for all sales calls to include room rates, billing procedures, qualifications, resident care procedures, etc., as appropriate.
Update addresses and other information in CRM database.
Receive applications, distribute information, and make recommendations to appropriate team member for review/approval and for placement in the appropriate level of living.
Assist individuals with completion of admissions packet upon acceptance into the community.
Maintain daily and weekly reports (i.e. Census, CRM, etc.).
What it takes
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Will consider a combination of experience in sales senior living with education.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with elderly population.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in Senior Housing and Sales & Admissions desired.
Previous Life Lease Sales experience desired.
Skills and Knowledge
Effective communication skills, ability to engage prospective residents and their families.
Strong computer and data entry experience
Previous experience in a sales role within healthcare community, house development and other similar facility preferred.
