Gravity Networks is an IT company with offices in Knoxville, Tennessee and Salt Lake City, Utah. We are looking for a Sales Administrator to assist our growing sales department in various roles. This person will be responsible for all hardware and software quotations and purchasing activities for the company. They will provide sales support to clients and staff.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales Support:

  • Create, update and keep current all Sales Board tickets.
  • Create sales quotes for hardware, software, licensing and labor as requested by internal staff and clients.
  • Track licensing and support agreements in database and provide sufficient notification to clients to renew before expiration of agreements.
  • Technical training and certification as needed.
  • Manage Quoting System Connectwise Sell

Vendor Management:

  • Obtain and compare quotes from different vendors to select the ones that provide the best value (quality and price) to the company.
  • Review, comprehend and utilize vendor pricing promotions and discount programs.
  • Place purchase orders and monitor delivery schedule for all open orders to ensure client and internal requirements are met.
  • Evaluate vendor reliability and performance, including on-time delivery performance, receiving problems, and rejected materials.
  • Investigate and resolve client problems with deliveries.
  • Resolve discrepancies between POs, receipts and invoices.

Office Support:

  • Update stock levels.

Communication:

  • Maintain contact with clients and outside vendors.
  • Communicate product updates at company meetings.
  • Represent company in a professional manner at all times. Adhere to the highest ethical standards. Maintain a professional appearance.

Measurements of Accountability:

Timely and accurate processing of quotations.

Thorough product knowledge.

Vendor certifications maintained.

Product margin targets met.

Responsiveness to staff requests.

VIEW JOBS 11/25/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-02-23T00:00 Job Summary: The Cloud Infrastructure Administrator will be responsible for utilizing knowledge and experience in monitoring and securing cloud systems and environments; preferably Azure and Microsoft 365. Additionally, this position will work with the Infrastructure, Development, Data, and Information Security teams in a blended environment to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based and internet accessible systems and services that support core business functions of K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc., and Food City. Essential Job Functions: * Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; and recommends process, product, or service improvements * Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business * Contributes to the development of functional strategy, establish operational plans and procedures * Collaborate with a cross-functional team of application developers, operations engineers, architects to understand complex product requirements and translate them into automated solutions. * Collaborate with colleagues to support and improve architecture, systems, processes, standards, and tools. * Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in the cloud * Assist with the design, and then implement, and maintain virtual server, storage, network, and security infrastructure while ensuring all solutions are properly monitored and instrumented * Work with application teams to migrate applications between private, public, and hybrid cloud environments where appropriate * Develop, implement, and test data backup and recovery, and disaster recovery procedures * Write and maintain clear, concise documentation, runbooks and operational standards including infrastructure diagrams while educating/mentoring product teams and junior engineers * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, test, and production environments * Deploy and maintain code for automating the creation of scalable/resilient systems/infrastructure Qualifications: * Experience in Software and/or Infrastructure required, with 3+ years desired in relevant infrastructure (systems/network), cloud, automation, and/or orchestration positions. * Knowledge of the offerings and capabilities of cloud computing platforms (Azure/GCP). Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running in the cloud. * Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including identity, compliance, and governance strategies * Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services like Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Functions, Virtual Network, DevOps, Blob storage, Managed Disks, Management Groups, Resource Groups and Subscriptions * Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows system administration * PowerShell, Shell, Python, Groovy or other scripting language * Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP * Exchange and Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams Administration * Experience monitoring cloud and on-premise infrastructure and applications * Experience with Infrastructure network principles and technologies * Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers * Experience with Nutanix infrastructure and software is a plus Benefits of working for Food City: 401(k) with company match, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Weekly Pay Checks with Direct Deposit, Company paid Life and Disability Insurance, Medical Plan with wellness benefits, Dental Plan, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacations, Associate Offers, and so much more!
